STATUS

South-east Europe through the Middle East to Kazakhstan and Iran. North Africa. Polytypic.

OVERVIEW

Ten of the twenty-three individuals have occurred in England, mostly south coast, but one each in Suffolk and Yorkshire. In Scotland, ten individuals have occurred in Shetland/Fair Isle, one each in Fife, Isle of May, North-east Scotland.

There have been two individuals in May (earliest 17th), three in June, one each in July and August, but the main autumn arrival is during September with a handful in October.
