STATUS
Nearctic. Monotypic.
OVERVIEW
An autumn visitor (late Sep-Nov) that struggles to survive the Atlantic crossing with many of them dying on these shores shortly.
Since 1950 England has had the lions share with 42 individuals with twelve occurring in Scotland, and just singles in Wales and the Isle of Man.
