STATUS

Asia. Polytypic.

OVERVIEW

Nearly half of all records have appeared in the Northern Isles, but a few have been found in the Midlands, the south-west and south-east of England with the rest on the eastern seaboard counties. Wales have also recorded two.

Main arrival is October and November with just under 40 records and a further 27 occurrences occurred during January to April with a single each in June and August.
