STATUS

Eastern European Russia to south-west, southern central Siberia, eastern Kazakhstan, western Mongolia and north-west China.

OVERVIEW

An individual trapped on Fair Isle was through DNA analysis identified to subspecific level, being the first for Britain of this smaller race from the Far East.
