STATUS

Southern Europe, Canary Islands, north Africa and the Levant to western Iraq. Polytypic.

OVERVIEW

Formerly known as Lesser Short-toed Lark but now split into three full species. However, from the note supplied this individual could not be assigned (BOURC 2024), Ibis 57: in prep.
