STATUS

Red Sea and Indian Ocean.

OVERVIEW

The second individual, a female, returned for fourteen years, mainly to the east coast, but once on the south coast and twice in Scotland. It was known to hybridize with Sandwich Terns T. sandvicensis. Two individuals have been seen in the west, on Anglesey and the Isles of Scilly.
