OVERVIEW

Mainly adults appearing in Britain as with other east Siberian calidrids like Sharp-tailed Sandpiper C. acuminata and Red-necked Stint C. ruficollis. A small population overwinters in the Persian Gulf east to SE Asia, but otherwise mainly coastal Australia.

The author relocated the ‘great dot’ and invited Richard Millington to confirm with his Questar.
