STATUS

North America. Polytypic: nine subspecies.

OVERVIEW

Fourteen of the first twenty individuals were found on the Isles of Scilly, but since the last there in 2008, five of the following six have occurred in England, as far north as Co. Durham, with the second for Scotland occurring in Argyll 2019. There is one Welsh record concerning an individual found dead in 1999.
