STATUS

OVERVIEW

Five birders going to look for autum Leach’s Storm-petrel Oceanodroma luecorhoa on a southwesterly gale were amazed when a petrel with a pied plumage and an unusual flight style came into view. Even when another fifteen birders got on it the notes of the individual could still only be assigned to an either/or species.
