Eastern Siberia, Korean Peninsular and north-east China. Monotypic.

OVERVIEW

The 1984 records from Yorkshire and Dumfries & Galloway were considered escapes.

The first for Britain spent about a month here as a Red-footed Falcon Falco vespertinus but with images on the internet, the diagnostic pure white axillaries, clinched it as an Amur Falcon.
